I guess most voters don't watch the council meetings, but really? Ignoring the electrorate. Very anti-democracy. How do people see them as a legitimate voting option anymore?

Yeah, they ignore what voters want multiple times every meeting, but this was particularly bad because it was done in such a cavalier way. They didn't try to explain why it's the voters who are wrong. They didn't pretend it's actually what voters want. They just laughed it off.

If only the media covered shit like that as much as they complain about whatever the Greens and Labor are planning and how "crazy" they are
