Carless is okay.
Carless after having a car is less okay.
This is true. I am a bit ashamed at how quickly I was already thinking about getting a car to heal the sting and maintain my autonomy. I happily spent most of my adult life without a car. But now a small part of me doesn't want to go "backwards", despite the insidious nature of buying into car dominance.
Having a car or not really influences how we think, the choices we make and what we do.
