ok. Lets test you out.

  1. Say you know nothing about subject matter, are you going to go and make promises to the business around subject mater with 0 consultation with the experts?
  2. Microsoft release a shiny new product, do you: A) Wait for it to mature and industry feedback before testing to see if its a good fit for the business? B) Rush to deploy, consequences be damned having learnt nothing about the last time you did this and it was a complete disaster?
  3. A project has been committed. An approach has been agreed with the subject experts. Do you consult with your team before announcing a complete change in the approach and scope?

Seriously. If you stop, listen and consult you would be 10x the department head than the one we have.
