TL:DWTTTS: yesterday I was asleep, my phone was in do not disturb mode, and I had the gate closed (because I was asleep) and was expecting one delivery at about 6pm. Then 2 rocked up around 8:30-9.

Alexa woke me up at 9 to tell me that I had a delivery coming today, so I opened the gate in case they came early and went back to sleep. Then properly got up at 11. The Amazon and Bunnings came at 8:47 and 8:55

Also, I do feel a bit bad about it, and don't blame Bunnings man for returning my order, or Amazon man for throwing my package over the fence. But Amazon has never delivered to me before mid day, and Bunnings have never delivered to me before 3pm. And I wasn't actually expecting either of them, because Amazon said Thursday and Bunnings said today

Overall, if this were r/AmITheAsshole, I'd give the story a rating of "no arseholes here" (NAH). Thank you for coming to my self evaluation.
