The one in Hawthorn?
Also more little fun facts about our tram network for you (also stolen from videos):
We have the busiest tram corridor in the world (Swanston St). We also have the longest metropolitan tram route in the world - the route 75. We're beaten by a rural one in the UK, and I believe a couple in Russia, but they're all regional, where as the route 75 runs solely within 1 city
Yep, the Hawthorn one. It's open every second weekend and things just lined up.
I would have thought the 86 was the longest. I'd like to see the comparison once they finally do the extension
There's also one in the Bylands. I've never been, but they're open every couple of Sundays and seem similar. I'm not actually 100% sure they're still active though, their website seems a little outdated and I can't find much on them from recently: http://www.tramway.org.au/
And the 86 is super close, a quick google tells me the 86 is 22.2km end to end, while the 75 is 22.8. The 86 would easily beat it if extended
That's my tram corridor. ๐๐ It's very convenient.
