ta da, first coat of stain/varnish is done, it's much nicer than I thought it would be, such a good product!

Thanks for sharing this. Iโ€™m looking forward to seeing the finished product. (If you wouldnโ€™t mind sharing) The stain will definitely make most fabric colours pop.

I used this colour on a small flip top student desk to great effect . I tried applying a gold leaf scrimshaw design around the edges and failed miserably haha. So had to keep it simple with just the stain.

I'm going to make some big scatter cushions as well to match and some of the fabrics have silver or gold thread. Just a tiny touch of gilding effect ๐Ÿ‘
