did you mean to reply to bat here? slur talk was a separate comment ::: spoiler slur talk i am generally pro reclamation but i would obviously never call someone a slur they didn't want to be called, and i can't help but feel like you're arguing with someone who doesn't exist, at least not in the discussion that happened earlier. no one said "anyone who doesn't reclaim slurs is lame and a [slur]," everyone who was even a little pro reclamation said "i would never call someone a slur they weren't ok with, and i wouldn't even call MYSELF a slur if they would be uncomfortable with it"
not that it's a crime to complain about interactions had off the site (or elsewhere! hexbear has some pretty shitty people on it sometimes!) and i definitely don't think there's a problem with holding that viewpoint, but if there's a respectful discussion happening like this it'd be nice if you engaged with the discussion happening and not just shadowbox fellow trans comrades
if you posted this with the context that you had just had an argument like that where someone was being shitty, or if you said "oh i can't stand slurs being reclaimed and i can't stand the discussion because [the thing you described] happens sometimes" that'd be totally fine, and i wanna emphasize that i don't think you're wrong to feel that way, i just don't think it's cool to reply to a different unrelated comment like that
