Neither China nor any other country was ever communist according to what the actual definition of communism is (=self-rule of workers and farmers, overthrowing the ruling class). A dictatorship with a state-controlled economy isn't communism. What China changed is to move from a centralized state-controlled economy to capitalism with privately owned enterprises with a right to veto for the government.

With modern science everything can be substituted in a healthy way. It's not like nature conjures magic to make animal meat nutritious. It's all just chemistry. That said, escalating a discussion about fucking cat food into something that gets pinned on the announcements page TWICE is insane.

Wo hätte die Ukraine damals denn sonst gelegen haben sollen? Asien? LOL. Ukraine liegt westlich des Ural-Gebirges und nördlich des Schwarzen Meers, ist damit laut neuzeitlicher Definition von Europa unser ganzes Leben lang in Europa.

Das einzige, das sich in den letzten Jahrzehnten geändert hat, ist langsam weg von "Osteuropa" zu gehen, was früher mehr ein kultureller als ein geographischer Begriff war und Osteuropa den slawischen Kulturraum Europas bezeichnet, aber das hat sich selbst bis heute nicht durchgesetzt.
