Should we ask them before we just take them ?

They can change the default settings as long as they leave the option to change it available.

Those planes are more finished than my projects.

All of them, thanks a lot for all the Devs hard work, I've tried and loved so many distros that I can't choose any of them but lately I have been using cachyos which is a clean and fast arch based distro.

It struck me that the political reason behind climate change, saving the planet and all is just so they don't have to fix anything and can keep all the money instead of helping people.

When I was a child I had a revelation; if Santa isn't real then the tooth fairy also isn't real. Then growing up, if the moon landing isn't real then nothing (of the same kind ) we are told is real.

I want a tiling WM like hyprland to become a full DE with all the softwares installed together at once, some presets and settings instead of config files, so I don't loose any more time tweaking it forever.

Is there another safe place to discuss piracy if it gets removed from Lemmy ?

Great thing, flatpak is litterally the heaviest folder on my system, and UI are great for those who are not used to the terminal commands.

I only store "rare old hard to get stuff that I loved a lot" but I just delete everything else after watching so I never have more than a 1TB drive half empty from which I also delete what I downloaded but will never watch after some time. All of that on my Raspberry pi home server with Emby and CasaOs.

I have been mostly an Arch and Fedora user but I am very impressed by Vanilla Os, it is clean and fast, their installer is beautiful and new, everything works very well, for example after a few day my last fedora install with gnome desktop was lagging a bit on my gaming laptop but I doesn't lag at all on Vanilla Os, it always feels fresh and clean. Anyone else experienced Vanilla Os, what are your thoughts about it ?
