No, but see, what if a person who isn't vegan accidentally eats some vegan food and likes it?

The good news is that, between the XMen and Fantastic Four, Marvel doesn't need the Avengers to be the centerpiece of the cinematic universe anymore. As long as they make good movies with good writing and good productions, they will make money hand over fist.

I would love to see a whole series of Young Avengers movies that don't act as a crossover event, but rather explore the relationships and tribulations of being young superheroes. In fact, if I were writing it, I'd set the movies during the Secret Wars when all of the major superheroes and villains have mysteriously vanished. So Ms. Marvel, Kate Bishop, Riri, Stature, Patriot, Kid Loki, Love, Wiccan, Speed, Skar (if we don't get a Hulkling by then), maybe Phyla, all dealing with what everyone assumes is another Snap.

If this pisses you off, good. Because this is the legal system we have, and it's always been this corrupt. It's always been this unjust, this skewed, and it will continue to be until we demand a change.

Gross. But you're right, denying it just prolonged the news cycle, and creates an incentive for someone to prove it. The guy used to visit a store to masturbate, there's no chance he was careful enough to avoid creating some evidence. He should just ignore the story and try to move passed it.

So it's worse because he was not paying attention to his speed? I could understand if the judge found that it was just as bad as speeding intentionally.

"No fair using the entirety of what we said to make us look like shitbags!"

I'm confused by this article. It sounds like the normal fine is £65 and 3 points. But the judge says he has "a clear history" and had a reason to be speeding, so "that can't happen here." Instead, he gave Moron a £650 fine and 5 points.

Also, the offender's name is Moron, which is funny but not particularly relevant.

If the judge felt he had a mitigating explanation, why is the penalty worse than normal?

The rifle had a lock for the bayonet that allowed you to reverse the bayonet and stow it in place. Smart design, but two soldiers managed to lock two rifles onto the same bayonet, requiring them to be drilled apart. It's a moderately famous example design engineers use to highlight the importance of UAT.

"Baffling"? No. Frustrating. Maddening. Depressing. But not baffling. We all know who Harris is and where she stands. She's a centrist trying to win an election against a sociopathic despot, so she has my full support. But I don't expect her to be a progressive champion, because that's not who she is. There should be no confusion, no surprise.

I really wish the Arlington employee would press charges. I understand why they won't, but it's really disturbing that the campaign and the candidate are lying about what happened.

Things that are objectively true:

They parroted pro-Putin talking points.

They were paid by Russia.

They claim to be victims of a Russian smear campaign.

How does that even work?

Look, we're obviously not the best team. We have significant flaws, and Embiid cannot carry this team by himself.

But how can you not be hyped after watching Batum raining threes and Tobias on the bench? Embiid took his time getting it together, but he got it done when it mattered.

We can beat the Knicks. We can beat anybody if we play our best.

Maybe we don't. Maybe we lose again and everybody starts thinking about next year.

But we are still in this. The Philadelphia 76ers still have a chance to show the world what they can do as a team. So let's get hyped and enjoy the ride!

I heard someone say this in a video recipe, followed by way more cheese than you should eat at once. It occurred to me that the phrase means ample, not nutritious.

Basically title. I'm curious how others are watch the game. I cut cable a long time ago, and have Hulu live for this season, but it's just awful. Their app sucks, the unskippable ads are all over the place, and tonight it started recording at 4:30.

So what is everyone else using?

Has this ever happened to you? There's a fly in the house, buzzing around you, so you go to the cabinet to get the swatter. But as soon as you start wielding it, the little bastard disappears. You set it down, and now he's back, taunting you.

Ok so obviously flies don't taunt, but do they have the capacity to recognize, even instinctually, that I'm holding a deadly weapon?

Anybody else want to see all five on the court together and just have them make a giant wall around the paint? No? Alright, me neither then.

So what the fuck is Morey doing?
