Meow, meow,

Few days ago I started working on a simple Wiki where I want to 'collect' all documentation on setting up Fediverse services and everything around it in one place.

Still adding new stuff on a daily basis. Hopefully it will be helpful to someone

To keep up with Elon Musk’s Starlink and the U.S., China plans to launch thousands of broadband satellites into low-Earth orbit. Of the roughly 8,000 functioning satellites in orbit, about 55% belong to SpaceX’s Starlink. China is making strides as more satellite companies like SatNet are getting more funding and making advancements.

WSJ explores how broadband satellites work and whether China can secure its spot in a crowded stretch of space.

Ralph Langner provides the most detailed presentation of the Stuxnet S7 code. He goes through the key Function Codes and Data Blocks in detail and shows how it matches to the Natanz facility. You see Ralph's teams comments throughout the Stuxnet code, and the level of detailed analysis.

This performance from S4x12 is a great example of the technical detail we look for in a Stage 2: Technical Deep Dive Session. The beauty of Ralph's presentation

If this where to happen, my guess is it's the same as Mastodon and many other platrforms that are also microblogging!

For example, if you "mention" a community from Mastodon within a post the post will show up on that community. Here's an example I just posted from Mastodon to Lemmy: https://geddit.social/post/183439

Few years ago I had Feddit.social as one of the first tihi! I closed at the time because of the trouble with the build-in filters that now have been removed and optional

I think I can help with that!

Basically it’s donations and own investments 👌🏻♥️ I run quite a lot of free services, mstdn.social and Masto.ai are the biggest I think but most of it gets covered by donations via various channels.

The rule is: people may only donate when they can miss it, we don’t wanna cause any problems with people!

Just a little fun thing: if every local user would donate 1 cent each month we would get more in donations than our total costs are😅

Ofc this doesn’t happen but some people can donate and other can’t!

No, not really.

Awesomee! I still have a little server running for some personal services like a self-hosted VPN, adblocker etc etc! :D

[-] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

Niceeee! Little /warning/, I believe the media hosting doesn’t work via the Yunohost install. At least not a little while back

[-] [email protected] 8 points 1 year ago

I don’t think this is allowed with the license

We on Geddit use the /legal page for donation links 🥰
