They want to abolish the separation of church and state. They want to teach creationism in schools. They want LGBT to register as sex offenders. They want to remove books from schools and libraries they don't like.

Really sounds like they want to make USA a region of russia.

I'm just going to assume this is sarcasm, because otherwise, my hope in humanity starts wavering

[–] [email protected] 2 points 17 hours ago

oof. If Blizzard does that, they'd have to cut like at least 1/3 of the characters lmao

[–] [email protected] 1 points 17 hours ago

And yet, I see just as many people openly flaunt russian language, flag and other symbols of that "country" online. What I'm saying is if you happen to live in russia but don't support the russian state, better not reveal where you're from at all

I don't know, seems pretty transparent to me

[–] [email protected] 7 points 17 hours ago

Oh they're aware. It's always projection

Maybe they should consider not supporting ongoing invasion of the country that universe originated from, if they are so into it

Good. Hopefully russia also bans all the games portraying LGBT characters and ethnic minorities, so I can fucking play Overwatch without running into these assholes every other match

"Shared background and culture" more like forcefully homogenised by russian empire and then ussr. Jesus Christ there is no end to the gaslighting

Mmm, still warm

Leprechauns are devious and malicious. Do not trust.

I don't see the downside

Hi! I apologize in advance if this is not the place for such posts.

I have recently happened upon descriptions of anarchism and its core ideas and, to my surprise, realized that I very much agree with all that I read. I would like to figure out what can I do to at least make an attempt to change the world into this direction.

Thing is, I grew up and currently live in Ukraine. I'm not sure what can I even do when my country is in a state of war, especially considering I'd rather not stick around in public places too much (being a guy and all).

Are there any online communities for Ukrainian anarchists that anyone knows of? I would also welcome any materials you think would be useful to study for someone new to anarchists' ideas

Thank you for reading this!

This one is my first Miku figurine. The fishnets appear to be made out of actual cloth!

Today, I have found this borbular fluff at a convention merch stand. It's the first convention we had in Kyiv since the war began, so, naturally, I couldn't pass it by. And boy was it worth it.

P. S. The little frog hat was knitted and sold separately!

I once regretted not being able to post my own copies' covers, so I decided to look up and share how they combine when on the shelf in order. Also, Ukrainian translation was really good, as I was able to confirm once I learned English enough to read these in it

Cheesed to meet you

It was printed as a non-profit project and I was lucky to be able to get a copy. In case you haven't heard about HPMOR, do check it out here, it's amazing.

P. S. I wish I could post a picture of Ukrainian translation of the main Harry Potter series - the covers were absolutely stunning, but those books were left in a different town :(
