I feel like Twitter (I will always deadname it) was the beginning of the end for him. Unfortunately, things like this can take years or decades to resolve, but whereas 5 years ago he had the midas touch and could do no wrong now there seems to be nothing but a stream of negative news about him.

Time will tell

Yeah, all manufacturer OSes are shit. Don't connect the TV to the Internet and use your own preferred streaming device.

Memes like Kilroy was here and that fancy S everyone drew in grade school were around before the internet.

Meme theory is actually really interesting. The Internet just supercharged how fast new memes can propagate.

Dig deep enough and I'm sure you'll find wall street at the bottom of this hole. They are the source of all enshitification.

My key take away from the article beyond the headline:

"Two sources said that the Department of Energy assessed in the intelligence report that it had “low confidence” the Covid-19 virus accidentally escaped from a labe in Wuhan.

Intelligence agencies can make assessments with either low, medium or high confidence. A low confidence assessment generally means that the information obtained is not reliable enough or is too fragmented to make a more definitive analytic judgment or that there is not enough information available to draw a more robust conclusion."

Somewhere in China, circa 2019 (Just kidding, I don't buy into that conspiracy)

I'm with you about Adam Savage. His philosophies about many aspects of life just resonate a lot with me and he is always so passionate about the things he's discussing or working on.

His view on organization being a continuous process finally clicked with me and got me to start putting my workshop in order.

I wonder if that will hold up in court for existing customers affected prior to the updated TOS.
