Yup, they have a $5 monthly plan as well which I utilize.

Good to see a fellow extension addict like myself! 😅

I think uBlock has a feature that’s similar ClearUrls that you can replace

This looks like Google Play/TV or whatever they’re calling it nowadays.

I use both but for different purposes: Signal for group chats and Telegram for channels (news and piracy).

I trust Signal more.

The real response you’re looking for is to use Lockdown Mode. Be warned, it’s the nuclear option of privacy.

Been a happy Kagi user for 6+ months now. No more Pinterest and other blogspam in my searches

Same here, I actually have a much healthier relationship with social media when on Lemmy vs Reddit. That might change as Lemmy grows in user content but for now I’ll enjoy the quieter experience

Hi everyone,

With all of the rising subscription prices, I am hoping to get some advice on the best Android device that will allow me to use the greatest number of streaming app (e.g, NewPipe, Stremio, Spotify apk, etc)

My nice-to-haves would be a device with a large screen (6.7 inches+), ease of installing apps, and durability. I used to have Samsung phones before which would be super laggy within 3 years of purchase, which I do not get with my current iPhone.

I am considering OnePlus and Pixels but am open to any suggestions!

That’s what I was thinking. Just got a nice tinge of nostalgia from this comment ☺️

ZenniOptical. My prescription is pretty strong (-6) but they manage to make the lenses pretty thin. I think a usual pair costs me $50 versus $500 at the optician’s store.

My view: Brave browser is a pretty useless Chrome reskin with crypto ads attached. Brave search is a pretty new and exciting alternative to Google.

Same here! I’ve moved from Reddit/Twitter to Lemmy and BlueSky, both of which have been an upgrade.
