I prefer to have a printed copy over a digital one for the simple reason of bookmarks. If a game is rule-heavy, I will have multiple bookmarks in parts I need to reference often. And having the bookmarks visible to me in the book does make it easier to remember which one is which section.

My issue with all that tech is now I can't find players who are willing to meet up in person.

I could have worded things better, as I wanted to know how tech hurt your hobby when it was supposed to make it better. My issue, we now have all these ways of connecting to people all over the place, there are more TTRPG groups that play online instead of in person. Used to be I could go into a game/hobby/comic shop and find people who are willing to start a game. I don't do well with online only games with my ADHD.

I have read many comments here about how horrible it is that the rich get everything and we need to make the opportunities equal for everyone, I think they are missing the point of the comic. At the end, Richard's view has been filtered through the things he was given as something that happens to everyone. Nobody told him that he was given privileges that Paula doesn't have access to. To him, everybody has access.

When I was young, my mom told me that Dad went to work too make money. In my head, I had envisioned him going to an office and running machines that made coins. Imagine my disappointment when I got to visit him at work and there were no coin making machines.

I used to work in a very large mortgage company in their website. The amount of tracking they do, the amount of information they have, just for mortgages, is astounding and frightening. We knew almost every detail about someone before they committed to a mortgage.
