I don't think so. However, you can write a magisk module that inject content into /system.

Have you tried Shizuku or magisk's libsu ?

They both allow you to run services as root (or adb shell user with suzuku).

jxlviewer 0.4.0 and POC integration in Simple Gallery (programming.dev)
 

Happy New Year everyone !

I just released a new version of my android app jxlviewer !

This update bump libjxl version to v0.9.0.

I also hacked a version of Simple Gallery that support jxl files. Try it out !.

My goal is to improve the android library, so that other app can use it safely, and then maybe add official support in Simple Gallery.
