This also works well for children.

I love how it's right at the bottom of the article, like an afterthought:

Additionally, please do remember that a key benefit of sleeping with the door closed is to help protect against house fires, so do bare this in mind if you want to give this tip a go and always prioritise your safety above all.

The real story was showing that part of American history: the culture, events, people, etc. Forrest and Jenny were just plot devices to tie it all together.

  1. Forrest had a serious intellectual disability, and she almost certainly felt like she was taking advantage of him.

The world got on fine before the internet too.

You’re not necessarily more mature

I thought that was the case until overhearing people in their 20s talking to each other.

I've used these apps -- when I was quarantining because I had Covid, wasn't in a state to drive, and needed food.

I don't use them anymore, but these types of apps can fill a "need".

If they use nuclear weapons, it will end in one of two ways.

  1. Escalation to full scale nuclear exchange. Putin dies or has to live in the aftermath of a nuclear holocaust.

  2. The rest of the world saying "that's enough". Nobody in power wants using nukes to be normalized. It's so profoundly destabilizing to the status quo that everyone sees it as a threat given it will inevitably lead to escalation. Every intelligence agency in the world will be making phone calls, offering sweet deals, and promising support to unhappy, powerful people in Russia to deal with the "Putin" problem. Ideological enemies will work together to eliminate this threat to their stability.

I took their comment to mean "companies offering VPN services as a subscription for the purpose of privacy".

It wouldn't be hard to target those companies specifically while leaving every other "legitimate" (in their view) use cases for VPNs alone.

HIPAA has exceptions, which include orders to disclosed PHI to the court.

... What Ken Paxton is attempting isn't legal though. Texas has no jurisdiction in this sham and following the order would violate Washington state law.

Did they use an entire case? That's around 60 flushes.
