I can't wait until some major vulnarability in Denuvo pops up and either gets widely exploited or AV programs start to warn against it due to security risks

Yeah that's pretty much what I meant, sorry if I wasn't clear.

I just think in order to reduce the resistance against such a change, it might be good to still provide the "old" method with voter registration for anyone who doesn't want a government ID because of "muh freedoms".

That way, any normal citizen can just have a government ID and by identifying themselves be able to vote without further registration. Any citizen who doesn't want an ID can go through a voter registration process, same as today.

They could just make a government ID that is not mandatory. Much like a passport. And whoever holds a passport or a voluntary govt ID is automatically enabled to vote using their ID / passport, but then would still leave the choice of manually registering for voting for those who don't trust "the government" and don't want a govt ID

Heh... not what I meant, but technically correct

So he's saying out loud that he wants to stage a military coup?

ISO8601 is great and all, but even without a common standard, I feel it should either be largest to smallest unit, or smallest to largest. YMD or DMY. Anything else is just asking for misunderstandings.

Same with the "select all images with bicycles", theres usually at least 2 or 3 in there that are so blurry you can't tell if it's a motorbike or a bicycle

No clue, but I wouldn't even be surprised if parts of filtration systems use PFAS themselves as coatings or similar, to reduce friction in pumps, for water proofing etc.

These quotes go to show how bigger corporations like Valve can still be a helpful, desirable influence in the FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) community.

Unfortunately, as far as bigger corporations go, there are very few that are "like Valve"...

Are those scorch marks an issue beyond aesthetics though? (Genuinely curious, not judging)

Nice!

Though if they were double sided, there is no way we can see all these cards in the same shot. If it starts at odd numbers (i.e. #1), #3 and #4 would share the same card front and back, if it starts even (i.e. a cover graphic and #1 on the same card), #4 and #5 should share the same card front and back.

Hi Lemmy

Not sure if this is the right community for requests, if not, mods feel free to delete this post.

After a long time I'm finally finding joy again in listening to music. Lately I'm into stuff that combines classical or symphonic instruments (i.e. brass, strings, piano) with modern music styles like electronica, pop or hip hop.

Stuff like the albums Symphonia or Deluxe by Schiller, or the OST of the Desert Combat mod for Battlefield 1942.

Do you have any suggestions for similar tracks?

Alternatively when creating the ventoy installation you can chose to leave X amount of space behind the ventoy partition and then create your own data partition there afterwards. You lose the advantage of "dynamically" sharing the available space between ventoy and your data, but with the seperqte partition you can use whatever filesystem you like for your data, and there is a clear seperation between ventoy and your other data.
