Not really related to film content but to the medium. Thought this was nerdy and interesting.

It is interesting, but why is it in the Android community?

This looks to be self-produced and pretty amateur but it was so cool to me to see what a big influence Dallas and Dallas radio was to the rock scene in the past decades. From the start of KZEW (The Zoo), to Q102, to Freddy King's career and the Vaughn brothers qrowing up in Oak Cliff. So many famous bars and clubs that aren't around anymore featured. Every major label had an office in Dallas at the time.

That's all gone now, and radio sucks. But it used to be cool at one time.

My bad, on mobile the articles all tend to flow together

This isn't meant as a political post, I just thought it was interesting the type of tech used, especially considering the 328 is in so many hobbyist MCUs like the uno.

An apologist is someone who makes it their work to defend a position, usually one that is under constant barrage from critics. In this case, proving the existence of a Christian God. Now that we know the context, we can examine the poem itself within that context.

From all my lame defeats and oh! much more

From all the victories that I seemed to score;

From cleverness shot forth on Thy behalf

At which, while angels weep, the audience laugh;

From all my proofs of Thy divinity,

Thou, who wouldst give no sign, deliver me.

Taken in context, it begins to make more sense. Lewis is reflecting on his attempts at refuting critics of Christianity. Sometimes he fails, sometimes he succeeds. The last verse is a call to God to help out his cause, to provide solid proof of His existence, yet He does not.

Thoughts are but coins. Let me not trust, instead

Of Thee, their thin-worn image of Thy head.

From all my thoughts, even from my thoughts of Thee,

O thou fair Silence, fall, and set me free.

Lord of the narrow gate and the needle’s eye,

Take from me all my trumpery lest I die.

The second verse is a bit more esoteric. Taken as a whole, it is not so much a confession of defeat, although it makes use of defeatist language, but an admission that at the heart of Christianity is faith. Faith within religion is a complete trust regardless of the existence of material proof. "Let me not trust, instead Of Thee", "O thou fair Silence, fall, and set me free.". The fifth verse is a reference to Bible verses, and the last verse is a call to deliver them from their own mortal cleverness in defending their position.

This is my own interpretation and could likely be completely wrong, so take from it what you will.

If you're into mountain biking, there's one along the trail in Bentonville, Arkansas. It's really cool.

Exactly what I was thinking, this is a great learning resource.

Before you buy anything, put some of the same content that buffers on a USB stick or powered drive and play it directly from the pi4. Also connect via ethernet to your router from another PC and check your dl speed from the NFS share.

I don't think I would ever be in favor of activity that leads to further centralization. I don't disagree that fragmentation can make things somewhat confusing for new users, but there are some advantages as well. I like to post to smaller communities for the most part rather than the larger ml and world domains. The responses are more focused on the topic at hand, the communities are usually less hostile and hive-minded, and having all discussions on a just a few big servers leads to a the problem of having all of your eggs in one basket (ie. discussions and accounts disappearing when these servers can't maintain server costs, the admins move on to other projects, or just poor maintenance practices.) To me it is worth the effort to cross-post and seek out other communities to find interesting content.

Response seems pretty reasonable to me.

I never have. I guess I don't understand the point of deleting your account? I have no issues with telling people my name and location. I live in Dallas, Tx and my name is Danny. I'll even meet up with you and buy you a beer.
