This looks very cool but I’m wondering what kind of postprocessing they apply to the images. There’s no way the original infrared image looks like this.

Everything is hyperoptimized for monetization so browsing something like Lemmy or Mastodon is a breath of fresh air.

They try to justify this by claiming they’re not profitable, while at the same time wasting so much time and money on terrible features and changes.

The reason why Reddit is not profitable is because of terrible management that tries to justify their existence.

Microblogging success seems to come from very popular users with many followers, such as celebrities, athletes, institutions, etc. Without these, Twitter would also feel empty.

Post that trigger outrage are much more likely to be upvoted. Users feel good seeing their ideas reinforced especially in contrasting “us vs them” scenarios.
