Also says, "subscriptions open at 9:30 PM 1/11/2014 EST" (emphasis mine)

This, especially if you have NVIDIA.

Granted. The Monkey's Paw is now replaced by an alternative wishing mechanism that is slightly more evil- it had previously been wished out of existence by the Paw, you see.

A couple of heavy-handed lines here and there but yeah. Fun episode.

I'm guessing it was probably a copy of Complacency of the Learned given how often it was name dropped in the Epilouges, but idk

Nightly, as the name implies, updates nightly. It's the "bleeding edge" release, meaning you'll get the newest features but will probably get more issues running it as a result.

You could plausibly throw in goblin as well- just have them fall into the spawning soup

I can see the halfling thing being an interesting origin story for a villain. Heroic halflings need some sort of evil individial or force to fight against to work as a solid narrative- so if the culture got a little bit too risky with using a specific fictional individual as that enemy, they could become real

If you had hidden cameras, you could gather data on how the language is being used in various scenarios. That might be enough for an ai to use to "learn" the language

Red is just an alarm clock. Blue is the best choice here

Tuvix was more effective than both Tuvok and Neelix and comsumed less resources. Needs of the many should actually lead to more crew fusions, not less.

(if this uploads twice, please let me know. Was using old.lemmy.world, but the post didn't seem to go through.)

For those of you joining us from reddit, you may remember how in December of last year, we were collectively reminded of the now-lost Gamma Session through a post about Drag Strider.

The original tweet that was reposted to reddit is here: https://twitter.com/_desc3nd/status/1598396135831470084

And the original reddit post is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/homestuck/comments/zapsvt/you_guys_remember_drag_strider_right/

Myself and a few others have been working on recovery processes, and the current culmination of our work is a reconstruction of the lost Demo version of the session, which (to the best of our investigations) seems to be similar in function to the Homestuck Beta.

If you happen to recall any lost commands and would be willing to re-suggest them, or simply want to check out the Gamma Session Demo, here is the link: https://mspfa.com/?s=50061&p=1

If you happen to find any lost media from or related to the session (art/music- fanmade or official, etc.) please submit it to the collaborative Google Doc we've been using to collect all the disparate bits of content:

Thank you for helping us recover this lost Homestuck Media!
