Oh Haha. I meant Hank Green. I've heard his name thrown around the past few years but have no clue who he is or why.
Thank god this isn't an internalized racism post...I have a few....terrible stories. But a lot of my early reddit days were "As a Black person" comments 🤢
I only have experience with 1 chapter and it was pretty electoral focused. There were lots of others member I met in the org that didn't agree with electoral work too but nothing really came from it beyond some members being elected into steering-but still having to focus on National.
I still think there's a benefit to sticking around and trying to find a place outside of electoral work, if there is any.
I don't know who hang green is and I'm tired of pretending I do.

I'm watching the cutest dog this weekend. All of my ailments have been cured.
I've congregated with white self proclaimed leftist/socialists who are aware of their "privilege" but still have weird views about "bad" neighbors that borderlines into fear. How white people talk about crime or "bad" areas is my litmus test.
They mentioned still talking to white people just with caution.
Yeah I was bullied too because my features make me stick out. Terrible time, kids are terible. Hope you get revenge or peace, whichever comes first.
This is really just the requirement for women at Japanese companies. Stockings, heels, and certain hair style.
Nope, you're not wrong. Corporate life is miserable, that's why Mike Judge keeps satirizing it with office space and the office. The people who are good at sucking it up and moving forward tend to stay longer and move up the ladder, making it more miserable for the rest of us. I use any opportunity I get to complain to my coworkers, it relieves stress and I learn a lot of others feel exactly the same. You're not alone and not missing anything, it's all ass.
