I switched to a circular cursor and I love it so much. https://github.com/ful1e5/Google_Cursor
Google is the king of giving bullshit reasons to hide their true intent.
I recommend Kagi. Bought a family plan and it feels like I've gone back to 2016 when the search engines weren't a dumpster fire.
I'm honestly impressed that Reddit has gone through with their decision despite the uproar. I'm surprised and disappointed they are weathering it so well though.
Well I, for one, would like to live for as long as I want. I understand the sentiment here, though a little depressing, is against that concept. I understand people's reticence toward extending a painful life, particularly if that comes with strings attached. Life extension would need to be paired with a basic income and the rich will need to foot the bill.
I think we can all agree that George R R Martin should be put on this regimen immediately. We're going to need 16 or more years for this dude to finish the series.
Even if you ate it you just pass it unless you obstruct something.
IMO BBT is just nerd mockery dressed up like nerd humor.
LOL this is how capitalism operates.
Obviously also new here. What you are seeing, honestly, is that the communities that have the most activity. This is what the majority of the users here want. Can you really blame them? You came to a preexisting community that had one thing in common. The federated social networks are explicitly anti-faang, that's their reason for being. We're just here because Reddit took away our stuff. It's on us to make the content and the community we want. They welcomed us.
The weirdos... being us?
Yeah. This is all I see: Software: Lemmy Signups: no
As long as this tool includes people's personal instances, it's useless.
I've had literally no problem with aiming in fact aiming is easier. It took no getting used to whatsoever. I changed it because I was doing a video demonstrating a feature on a touch screen but using a mouse and it seemed closest to the touch tracking while doing a screen recording on a phone. I found I liked it and had no desire to go back.
I like the symmetry quite a bit as well as how easy it is to identify things I can interact with (black dot inside) vs things that I cannot (black border). I also really dig the thick text cursor. My only complaint is the resize handle is not super obvious. It's kind of a lemon shape.
