Not complaining, but I think I prefer the poster on this Wikipedia article than the one posted.

Pacific Rim also makes great use of its aspect ratio, to make the mechs and monster look HUGE.

Speaking of monsters, perhaps Monsters (2010) would be my suggestion.
It gave the director an in-road into the film industry, and is broadly appreciated, but it didn't redefine filmmaking in the way the crew thought it would.
Made for less half a million, the techniques used in the film to make it look more expensive weren't adapted as widely as presumed.
It's a shame, because now all movies seem to look very low-budget or very high-budget, and the mid-budget film has all but disappeared. This offered an opportunity to provide a mid-budget-looking film, without the struggles for financing. It's possible, though, that Edwards' next film (The Creator) will take advantage of his previous work, and the studios will produce some new IP without the $200M risk that's usually associated.

Three-legged chairs at that. Next to weirdly high-up plug sockets.

Let me out of this house now please. I want to go home.

Realising I never bought Andromeda. Just played it as part of an EA Access thing, and once was enough (a shocking thing for me to think about a Mass Effect game). It's okay, but I think I enjoyed Dunky ripping on it more.

Incredible stuff. Reminded me at times of High Life, Monsters, and Moon

So many ideas packed into 20 minutes. My favourite - apart from [ludicrous title sounds] - was the sign changing from OPEN to NOPE.

There's even an after-credit scene - which I watched to see how many hyphens a multi-hyphenate can have (lots, apparently)

Rourke's character ends up looking less intimidating poking at ice blocks than if he'd just left them alone.

This was this from their discord (?) in the meantime.

As far as your taste buds are concerned, yeah.

Your posts all tend to have a theme.

But the issue is that 50% of your taste comes from smell.

No. As it says in the post you linked they just blocked the community.

It's not just the biggest Pirate Community btw, it was one of (if not the) biggest Community across all of Lemmy.

Huh. The decadence of the New World.

I feel I should report this. Based on you instance, I'm assuming you're attempting to post stolen media here, one frame at a time.
