Still can also be used to mean "despite that" as in "i threw it around and it still always worked" = " i threw it around and deslite that, it always worked".

Except the difference between a person not buying the game and a person pirating it is literally nothing from the perspective of the company. Except actually, as many devs have found and acknowledged, people who pirate the game often actually result in increased word of mouth and publicity, and things like merch sales, not to mention many go on to buy the game later when they never would have if they hadnt pirated it first. So saying "just dont buy it" is kinda fucking dumb, because thats all theyre doing in the first place, and the only negative consequence of piracy for the company is a "potential lost sale" that never would have happebed anyway.

But you expect other people to use their free (literally unpaid) time to code what you want them to rather than what they care about or think is important. After theyve already made all of their work and progress free and openly available to anyone who wants to build off it. You have a fucked up view of the world.

So stop crying about it and tell us your must-pirate games already.

They want it to be opaque, that lends it an air of mystery and importance, and then when the preacher drills contradictory information into their heads theyre less likely to question it or look it up themselves because if the church says god hates gays or poors or immigrants it must be in that big scary book somewhere.

The people in the 4th panel arent supposed to be humans, theyre some sort of shadow people, and the 'ghoul'is like their shadow pet.

I have a lot of doubts about this article, but also i bet i could find multiple instances of churches in certain states taking down pictures of jesus to put up pictures of trump.

I think you might have some body issues or something thats causing you to hyperfixate on his belly. Literally no other comment has even mentioned it. All the comments are focusing on his ridiculous expression and the absurdity of a grown man worth billions of dollars jumping up and down like a failing children's entertainer trying to work up some excitement from the crowd.

Literally jumping up and down while waving your arms in support of trump of all people is what people think is dumb. Thats something he did. Youre the only person whos bringing up how he looks.

I mean its an opinion not a fact, but i cant stand him. I think he comes off as smug and superior and a lot of his jokes don't land and just make him seem mean. Im sure some of it is him trying (and failing) to fit what he thinks the "taskmaster" role is, but i also get the vibe that he's just an asshole in real life. I feel like he'd berate a waitress for getting his order wrong and think he was being charming to the other people at the table while doing it.

So in this episode they go into a cave, and can read some sort of energy field, as well as Troi having a sense that there are lifeforms present. Geordie explains that the people must be displaced in time, but only by a few milliseconds. If that's true, how is there not overlap? Say the people are a few milliseconds ahead of the enterprise when they arrive, shouldn't they appear a few milliseconds later, as they still would have had to be 'present' during that time? I don't understand how they would be consistently invisible if time is a dimension like space that can be traveled through. Some past (or future) version of them would be present regardless of the desynchronization would they not?

Please if anyone could help me understand or shed some light on this I'd appreciate it.
