Lemmy is confusing enough for people who are not used to its idea. Everybody new and with FOMO immediately went for the bigger instances.

Personally, some of the particular covers sang by Youtubers or certain compilations remind me of specific memories back when I was younger.

Also there's a lot of songs that are not available anywhere else

Japanese for work. I was trying Chinese, and tho my reading skill's getting good, my accent was simply atrocious and requires immersion. Japanese pronunciation is easier for me so I switched to it this month.

No joke, I actually felt I became more productive this week. I was able to do my language studies daily now (used to STRUGGLE so much in the past few years) and I'm starting to implement a savings plan I've been planning for a while.

The only shitty thing was that my body clock didn't fully reset. I work graveyard and I barely get 4hrs of sleep per day this week. I'll be drowning in coffee later to survive. Wish me luck.

The fact that they went forward with this decision means they're not so wise at lying. It sounds more like last-minute damage control, but I doubt this will stop their greed. What I'm wondering now is how will the Chinese game companies react? Everybody get your popcorns ready.

Now THIS I can support compared to those paint and milk fiasco from many months ago.

Why is it like that? It's so bizarre

This is the first time I've heard of this concept. lemme check

EDIT: I'm confused, this sounds like a normal city? Like, there's a school, residential areas, convenience stores, a mall, a hospital, a forest, and green grocers just surrounding my workplace right now.

EDIT2: Browsing the thread made me realize that this is about US cities. Now it makes sense. But it's still confusing why this is a debate, life is much more fulfilling, more eventful with this kind of city.

This is when I go to mobile gaming because I could play in my bed. For me it's mostly:

  • Stardew Valley
  • Emulating JRPGs
  • Doing dailies on my gacha games ---> really brainless clicks lol
  • Magic Survival - Could easily make me play for hours upon hours
  • Night of the Full Moon

Nah, I do agree it's a much more common take than people realize. Another POV I've seen was on the other end of this spectrum, when Malaysians actually offered to open up their borders to refugees years ago and the refugees....refused lol. Apparently they prefer to get into South Korea instead. I've never seen a faster 180° change in opinions regarding refugees like that time.

If I wanted privacy, I wouldn't be browsing online.
