It's the hustle culture that's been ingrained into society at this point. Every industry has it now. Get in, make as much as possible (with little to no regard for others), get out, retire early.

After that just become an influencer showing off your lavish lifestyle for brand sponsorships for even more money.

Shit like Tiktok and Youtube Shorts are only making things worse, faster.

The U.S. recently passed a law requiring the government to start disclosing all known(lol) information on UFOs/UAPs. The first congressional hearing was yesterday but was basically a verbal redacted/censored CIA document from the 60s.

About half of what was asked was responded with "I can't say in public."

At this point it's painfully obvious that they're literal puppets for people in power who don't want their names in a public forum like congress.

It's basically Weekend at Bernie's. Except not funny at all.

Nobody's out to get you personally. They want your shit. Or they want you out of their way on their quest for more shit. Either giving them your shit or getting out of the way will cease you being a perceived threat towards them. In your examples the drug lord/person being promoted isn't targeting their competition personally (as a person), just whomever happens to be the competition. If nobody steps up as a competitor, they have no reason to kill (except as a threat to chill would-be competitors out of the game).

Outside of a few very niche cases of psychotic mental illness, nobody wants to kill. It's so much effort even predators in the wild tend to leave each other alone in favor of prey that won't fight back and maybe kill/injure them. It's why black bears can be scared off and grizzlies/polar bears can't. If you can prove yourself enough of a threat, the animal is going to fuck off to live another day.

You're comparing continents and countries.

North America is over twice as large. So yes, from anyone on this side of the pond it's tiny.
