Douglas Copeland originally defined Gen X as starting ~1960. That tracks with Gen Jones - 1960-1964 - a boomer subset that had a very different experience from that of classic boomers. I have seen Obama described as a Gen X-er and he's older than I am.

I taught in a district where it was mandatory to take the ASVAB. My principal said fine... "All tenth graders take the ASVAB".
Recruiters can only access students if in grade 11 and 12. (? Probably it's about the age for enlisting)
Best administrator I ever had.
Smart Launcher. The app drawer is set up like my Palm Pilot (tabbed categories). Over the years it has added more features but the only gesture I really use is double tap to turn off the screen.
Nova was my first third party launcher but SL has an easier set up for the same effect (for my case).
I use Discworld geography for physical devices. VMs have character names.
I de-sweetened my palate over time. I don't add any sweetener to my yogurt (made in an Instant Pot) . That said, I ferment it for 8 hours because I don't want it too tart. It's perfect for raita or tzaziki. For breakfast uses, I add cheap vanilla flavoring with fresh fruit. Not scary at all!
