@bot @Inginsub @Rainmanslim @LemmyBe He's only half right because, I think, Lemmy currently doesn't give tools for users to personally defederate from other instances. So either they have to resort for the nuke option or to deal with us.

@Rainmanslim @LemmyBe Truly, funny and ignorant you are. You should first learn about who inhabits the Fediverse. Edgier people were here way longer before you guys arrived. You're just currently living in a bubble.

@Clbull That place is still around just so you know. They rebranded to talk.lol. But if you type voat.xyz it will still work. Gotta stay updated on the info my dude.

@bandario @giallo Look at you being a big boy with big threats. Up until a month ago you and the instance you're in didn't even exist on the Fediverse. You think your empty intimidation tactics are going to work on anyone? Don't take this as me supporting Meta btw.

@GuyDudeman @SoupOfTheDay Not "until". You still make the rules even after they defederate from you.

@Stijn Sign up to be a mod or something and do it for free. I guess that helps as well.

@Stijn I'm not too familiar with the whole magazines/community situation but I can give the pointers on what works on the Rebased/Pleroma/Mastodon/Akkoma side of software on the Fedi:

Fediverse works best when everyone uses their own instance. Obviously impossible, since you need to be at least a bit technically savvy and maybe shell out a few bucks a month at most. So a lot of smaller instances is better than one big one - That's the name of the game.

@fear @dope @generalEdo Are they even allowed to do that with the GDPR protecting EU citizens?
