Why exactly is this worse?

It is an optional feature that the majority of people will be using, making herd immunity for those who do not

And how exactly do you plan to reach this high quality elite content without search engines?

"[search term] reddit" has been a top search since OpenAI decided to open the SEO bot floodgates.

An homicide is an homicide before the court case for it is done. Just because some words also have legal definitions it doesn't mean that they're incorrectly used before the judge concluded them and the guilty party.

Maybe easier to visualise with assault. Assault happened from the moment the aggression happened, not from the moment the aggressor got convicted of it

Well, those massive parking lots are a thing because 100% of the attendance comes in a car.

It happens that in European cities, the majority of people go to those mega-events events by public transit or Taxi.

Are you going to put parking lots just to burn up space? If that was the case, then no need for asphalt, trees absorb sound better than asphalt.

Lisbon's big arena is in a fast to reach part of the city that is surrounded by a lot of stores and offices and basically no housing. That's the way to do it. Is a 3 minute walk away from the subway.

That's Algarve for you. It just straight away stopped having Portuguese people. The entire south coast of Portugal is now a British colony.

Except the retirees, people only go there in the summer so, by May, "business" owners need to hire like 50k persons willing to do crap jobs and by September they all get fired. Ofc that people aren't really willing to do that so we get the added bonus of bosses going to journals to complain that "there isn't a shortage of jobs, it is the Portuguese that do not want to work". What a dream job, to live in a cardboard box to appease Brits looking for the cheapest nice-place.

Whatever happened there that was Portuguese is no more.

the history of anyone before the 20th century

Does it count when talking about prophets, deities, gods and such? Weren't they meant to be perfect?

I don't recall the possibility of god and his messangers being imperfect, in any century.

We humans, we are flawed and have societies whose notions are not static because we evolve. God can't afford the excuse of "errors of the past, I evolved"

Y'know that you can see the requests your browser makes, right? Mind putting in here a screenshot of HIBP uploading your password or any complete hash of it?

Failing to provide that grants you the "talking shit out of ya ass" award.

What exactly do you suggest them do? Move elsewhere? How exactly?

Well, you can navigate de UI freely and watch the first video for free without any account. What else would you need to know the platform? There's a free trial of Nebula called YouTube. Everything in there except the exclusives. When you're convinced they have the content you want, it's 3€/mo so... whatever.

Did it occur to you that most things in nature have radioactive isotopes and that for nuclear reactors we look for the most radioactive bunch, refine them to remove the least radioactive bits and then use them in reactors?

If you reverse that process (well, not really a reversal as you now have different atoms) and re-dillute stuff in nature in a sensible way, you're not going to get anything that is substantially above ambient levels. The oceans are tremendously big and the waste water is already quite treated. One is not going to notice a change in relative terms anywhere on earth unless high-precision equipment is used.

This is not a very-scientifically-accurate comment, but if it was you would not understand so lets keep it like this.

Isn't it? It somewhat-works in the browser but you don't get proper noise cancellation there nor quite some other features. Their native client is using an ancient version of Electron that, at least on Linux, leaves a lot to be desired. No audio-share, no proper Wayland support, no High-dpi.

There are quite a few amateur GitHub projects with patches and repacks to show how things should be done.

If a client is only good on Windows, then it is not that good. Remember Skype?

Simple reason being that there's no notoriously good OS for Samsung phones.

Graphene is highly focused on not being annoying while keeping privacy intact. You can, for example, have Google Play Services, within a sandbox. Everything can be denied network access, or any access really, on a per app basis.

It also relies on Google's security chip to keep the chain of trust intact. The boot sequence and your private keys are kept intact that way. Not everyone documents and opens their hardware as well as Google. Samsung is notoriously terrible and full of it when it comes to allowing you to do your own thing.
