Lol I literally came here to say that.

Tiettyyn porukkaan ainakin. Valitettavasti. Halla-aho kyllä tuntee yleisönsä.

I mean I don't know how big it was worldwide, but where I'm from there was like a whole trend some years back where teens would have these, landline telephone speaker/mics you plugged in to the headphone jack to make calls and they'd have it hang around their neck when not using it it was the dumbest fucking thing I've ever seen.

Fuck I wish I could, but it's US only. I was ready to take on debt when they announced that they're quitting a decade ago, but a trip to the US is just way too fucking much. I'd probably end up staying homeless there. So jealous. Enjoy! I can't even imagine what their shows are like, it just doesn't transfer through video.

Another song released from the album that disappeared for over a decade!

smart people can 100% be stupid too

To expand on that, people can be smart in one aspect and really fucking dumb in others. Intelligence is a spectrum, it's not binary like you're either smart or dumb. Plenty of people who understand quantum level physics etc. who are socially and emotionally at the level of children and vice versa and so on.

Wooden spoons tend to be bulkier so maybe that's why it's always said to use a wooden one.

Ooh thanks for sharing this documentary. Lemmings is one of my favorite games of all time.

Here's the link if you don't want to go and give The Guardian more traffic.

But, released years before mobile phone games were a thing, it was nonetheless a fiendishly addictive game that feels like the spiritual precursor to the likes of Angry Birds. (from the article)

Precursor to modern mobile games the likes of Angry Birds? Really?

Then why are you continuing to argue that it IS bipolar?

Learn to read. I'm done. You made your point and I respectfully disagree, you suit yourself and keep pretending treating someone based on their skin color, sexuality or race isn't discrimination isn't discrimination. Either you don't know what the word means or you're so privileged you're blind to the fact.

I'm not pretending anything and you're putting words in my mouth I never said or intentionally misenterpreting my words and I'm done with this bad faith argument of yours.

I'm not Mike Johnson and acknowledging discrimination doesn't make me privileged. You can discriminate all you want it doesn't make it any less discrimination. Nor does it make discrimination against someone even if they might be privileged any less discrimination.

If you really think someone who just happens to have been born those things and gets the worst treatment than someone who, say is, POC and/or LGBTQ, who is better off than someone who is homeless for example you're delusional and extremely discriminative. It largely concerns all of those things, but it's not as bipolar as american identity politics makes it up to be, it's more about class politics and politics essentially and way more subjective and individual than you're making it out to be - which is exactly my point, not a single one of any gender, sexuality, class, anything is a fucking monolith you should discriminate against as one. But you're free to downvote instead of discussing.

I can't get over how much I love this song. How can one song be so soothing and devastating at the same time.

The whole album is a masterpiece in my opinion, but this one song - it just never fails to bring me chills.

Shit, I'm late to the party. I wasn't really all that much into the previous album (Angels & Demons), but this shit already feels like a return to form after London Zoo after only a couple of tracks. Fuck.

Found this one again after years. Heavy Elliott Smith vibes, just different.

So I've always noticed when I'm as down as I can get, I find comfort is music that most people find super depressing all the way to unbearably depressing. Like slit-your-wrists depressing. Songs you'd expect to find someone hanging from a noose in their home on repeat to. These kinds of songs bring comfort because they make me feel like, ok, I'm not so alone with this shit.

And for context, really happy songs just seem the saddest, most devastating songs that there are, because you don't have that, you don't have that happiness, love, support, that glimmer of light everyone's so happy about you know?

So gimme the saddest songs you can think of. I'm wearing Joy Division out.

Some other music/songs I've been listening to: Ren - Hi Ren (and some others of his), Elliott Smith, Micah P. Hinson, Portishead, Swans, Lykke Li - I Never Learn, Interpol, Chelsea Wolfe, Elton John - Rocketman, Matt Elliott, Savages - Adore

This whole album is just amazing and you should listen to it now!

After announcing they were pretty much done with the album that was to be their last, over a decade ago, they suddenly announced they just disappeared after promising to release the album anyway and slowly erased any mention of the new album, along with the accompanying movie that was to go along with it. The band broke up and everyone went their merry own way and the album never came. A decade of silence.

I was sure it was never going to see the light of day, but it's finally here! I'm not sure I've waited this long for practically a finished album before.
