Starting to build my library, and ROM size hasn't been an issue now until I got to PS1.

The file sizes aren't MASSIVE, but it's a little annoying to download each individual .CUE/.BIN, and convert to .CHDs.

I looked at some torrents, but they're mostly a mishmash of formats and clearly put together by someone that is not well organized.

also interesting is how few car makers even produce normal sized cars anymore, let alone smaller ones.

One of the most irritating things about using this site.

Whenever I get a reply and click either of the two context links:

https://i.imgur.com/bGFOl36.png

It will either show a blank screen saying server error or just partially load the page but never show anything.

Instead, i have to click on the thread and scroll through the entire thing until I find my comment and who replied to me.

It is both funny and sad that Google has more or less trained me to never use their apps.

At this point, I purposefully don't use them because I assume they'll soon be cancelled.

We are heading towards a future of Apple, Samsung, and Google, with even the latter two struggling to stay afloat.

And to be fair, Google deserves a lot of the blame for this happening.

was hanging out with friends getting some drinks, we decided to walk through our old campus.

there was a roof I always used to climb up while in college to chill on, so I did that.

after finished, while hopped up on liquid courage, I decided to jump down.

did so and shattered my heel.

spent the entire summer immobile and required a surgery that ended up costing me about $5k out of pocket.

have mostly recovered now, but it's still not as good as the other foot, and I know it's going to hurt like hell when i'm old.

don't be like me, don't do stupid shit while drunk.

Sadly, lemmy is already being flooded with low quality posts from reddit refugees.

It's a bit cumbersome to browse ALL, see a post from a community I don't want to see, click the community, then click block.

Is there some dashboard like this: https://lemmy.world/communities

That incorporates a block button, so I can just go down the line?

Trying out Sidekick, Ferdium, Station, RamBox now.

Curious to hear what people's opinions are on these, and if there are any I'm missing.

Part of a strange, larger trend where things get worse as technology advances.

autocorrect, search engine results, google now -> assistant, voice recognition.

All of those seemed to be much better a few years back.

Can concur here.

My company, at first, decided to ask everyone to come back into the office.

They were also trying to hire more people, but almost every candidate dropped out once they heard they would be expected to go in.

They've now reversed course and let people work from anywhere.

I have about 5 different apps installed right now, and while I plan to test them all out, curious what people's conclusions are thus far.

Almost all mobile editors that I've seen just allow you put filters/text/etc over them.

I'm looking for an app that will let you have multiple layers, bring in a second image, cut out the background, resize and move it, etc.

Are there any apps like this?

kinda cringy, but seems like a nice guy.

sure, he does his philanthropy "for views" but that's what allows him to continue doing it.

not a fan of his, but he's alright.

At least for the next few years, I am pretty firm on needing a jack on my device.

I am currently using an LG v60, and while nice, it's starting to show its age.

Any suggestions on where to go next?

I was looking at the ROG phone, and while it does seem very nice, I feel like it is a bit much as I don't game on my device at all.

Are there any good phones I should be looking at?

Thanks!
