To be honest, nearly everyone who uses Lemmy probably also uses Mastodon instead of Bluesky or Twitter. Edit: Or Threads. Completely forgot, that they also existed.

You noticed the 1578%, right?

I travel a lot, and noticed weird inconsistencies in some regions, and I wanted to try to deactivate every singe GNSS except the "Locally Preferred" (Galileo in Europe, GloNas in Russia etc.). So basically just debugging.

Is there a way to manually change GNSS Networks (Galileo, GLONASS, Navstar, BeiDou) on android? Or at least deactivate a specific one? Maybe with root access?

Let me introduce you to a third one ↑

Who even uses Snap anyway? I either use apt (or .deb) or flatpak. Snap is just the worst of both worlds...

Am I the only one who thinks, that Episode 3 is a bit... different than the other two? I was weirdly serious at some places and the Animation were a lot more playful than the other ones. Maybe it's just me, but i like the new path the series, is trying to go here.

Video Streaming on Gnome Web is a mess. Especially on YouTube. And It's still lacking addons.

To be honest, i still use Geary. It has a nice UI, and if you just read and write a small handful a month it still gets the job done.

Does Anybody know how the background of the App Icons is called in the gnome-shell.css file? I've been searching for hours, trying everything, that could possibly make sense, but i just can't find it.

But why would they make their own Apps non-GTK (Gnome Software Store, Gnome Settings, System Monitor...)?

[–] [email protected] 8 points 5 months ago (14 children)

Exactly, but even the Official Gnome Settings don't work with GTK anymore?! I just don't get why...

What OS are you on? I use HeliBoard for a few Months now, and have never seen this.

I'm noticing more and more Apps actively trying to avoid Themes and instead opting for the fixed default look. Even some of the Default Gnome Apps. And then there are initiatives like Please don’t theme our apps. Is this the slow death of GTK Themes, and if yes, why?
