I've always liked the idea that the Klingons are passionate enough about Kahless' promise to return that they're completely satisfied that the clone fulfils the prophecy.

I know these things tend to be fuzzy when the Klingons are involved, but...is being directly involved in the death of a high-ranking Klingon a Prime Directive issue?

Is this season secretly building to an extended hearing on the multiple violations committed by the Cerritos crew over the course of ten episodes?

Yeah, in October. That's nearly a year away.

The STO team has re-shared this in light of Tony Todd's passing:

When Tony recorded with us, he was kind enough to sit down and do an interview about his career. That's what we'll always remember about him, his kindness. Tony could terrify you and make you cry in the same scene, but the man himself was a joy. RIP.

"Unfrozen augment" certainly got my attention.

There's potentially a lot of time before the next election, and campaigns matter.

Things look bleak, but I don't think I'd call it a "foregone conclusion."
