I agree, the internet was still quite young in those days, I'm quite sure I wont be so open with internet access with my children (they are 7 and 2).

what kind of idiot parent lets an underage child on the internet unrestricted.

I'm 35, and I have been online pretty much unrestricted since I'm 11/12ish. But yes, I saw some shits.

Oneplus used to be good too,

On that note, Xiaomi also used to be good. In fact, xiaomi's initial popularity is for the ease of unlocking and rooting. Once it gain popularity, it started to lock down, much like the path OnePlus is on.

Maps of US bases are freely available online.

Great map, however it doesn't show any of the areas near China whereas the article clearly indicates that US has base on Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, and Thailand.

I do not think fear comes into the argument, if it does, it would be the Chinese, US has China surrounded with bases. China does not have a single base any where near US.

A question, what tod do when the laptop is completely frozen, as in you can't even move your mouse. Is the only solution to force shutdown?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago (5 children)

I mainly project myself in that statement, I like to know how people come up with their perspectives, in this case religions. Religions are all fairytales, easter fairytales can provide some new stories? In the west, its all Christianity and some interests with Norse paganism.

Please disregard my ravings at your leisure.
