Thanks for trying to help so much!

I'm at a total loss here, as I've never had an issue with a BIOS iso before. Perhaps it's only visible on Windows, or they have protection in place? Could also be negligence and they don't care anymore as this is a relatively old model (though I've just bought it as I was looking for a good deal on my first proper work laptop ๐Ÿ˜…)

Overall it's of course no big deal but Im still confused as to why it doesn't see the mounted iso of the update when booting from the USB.

And I've tried unarchiving the iso and also just looking inside but it just shows up empty (I've checked multiple times that it downloaded correctly and even redownloaded it a few times just to be sure). Do I need to convert to img or something first? The size is still showing correctly, so I'm unsure as to why it's empty in every case.

Thank you so much, this was insightful! The system actually has a firmware update which did the trick (to version 1.63) but it didn't get the latest version so I've tried updating BIOS manually via a flashdrive with the latest version (1.64) but it doesn't see the flashdrive material when I load (I'm sure I've written the drive correctly).

I've got the 6th gen and it seems to be not in the list, but thanks

Yes but they don't have my laptop in the device list: no Carbon X1 Gen 6 (only Gen 9)

Thanks, I've installed it but haven't figured out how to use it yet.

Not literally 14 yo though.

But why would it happen at all?

Thanks ๐Ÿ˜…

So you're American

Looking to develop my skills in order to get a foot in the door on a new career path but unsure where exactly to proceed, so would appreciate a good counselor suggestions if you've had a positive experience with them. Ideally someone who specializes in the state of things globally, not just in America.

Google Assistant refuses to work well with this phone so I'm looking for good, free alternatives.

By employed I mean get a job in the industry either offline or online. Ideally something that would highly likely remain in-demand in the near future.

I've got the Chinese version of the phone and can't for the life of me find a way to get rid of this while DND is on. I've tried using the hidden settings apps as well to no avail.

Here's the screenshot https://ibb.co/D1n7FCc

Probably too far-fetched, but curious anyway since this would make things a lot easier.

Recently got a modded Switch with a chip and it's got custom software with this Tinfoil app on it, and I was wondering if it could be possible to somehow stream to Twitch/YouTube directly, without a capture card, using an app that would work only with a modded version of the console.

I plan to play in the docked mode.

I know there are Quest 2/PC crossplay, asymmetrical games, but what about Quest 2/Switch? I mean where one person would be playing a game on Switch and the other the same one on Quest 2, together.

I'm planning to go on a long trip around the country where speed limits are ridiculously low, even on highways, and that's all the road police care about (even the slightest of speed-limit infringements) and was wondering if a radar/speeding-camera detector would be worth it.

Can't use Waze or anything like that because these apps don't have enough data on Southeast Asia (Vietnam specifically).

If they are at all reliable, how much should I expect to spend on the one that wouldn't get me in trouble?

Do they work as well at night as during the day?

And is there anything else I should know about them?

I need one for general purposes only, NOT for gaming, so I don't really care about gaming-related features.

I'm going to buy it in Asia, as that's where I live (Vietnam specifically), and would appreciate any advice. ๐Ÿ™‚

Just making sure I'm in the right place. I cannot see any developed communities here so I've started wondering, what's the real place everyone from Reddit has moved to? I've heard something about Discuit, but never tried it.

I need a guide for the Android Lucky Patcher to make my game-cracking easier. Can anyone recommend a good one?
