No, sadly it's been like this for the past few weeks.
You've been given some solid suggestions, so I'll add that you can simply block ich_iel to prevent it from flooding your local feed, should you sign up at Feddit.de 👌
It's very sad to see Feddit.ch go! I want to thank you for the great 8 months I've had here and all the time you dedicated towards the running of the instance. All the best!🙇♀️
Happy holidays to you, hope you're been enjoying the season as well!
Thank you for the update and your dedication to keeping the instance running smoothly.
I'm sorry to hear about your episode, I hope the time away is helping and that you will feel better soon♥️.
This week I'd like to dive more into the self-help material that I have and to also set a combo of long and short term goals.
For me, there is grief in having to explain to others why I don't want to go.
This is all very amazing, can't wait for the insights that this discovery might provide us!
Loved the artist's illustration as well, it helped paint the picture of what's happening.
I like science, tech, nature and mental health topics and some more.
I've used several of them myself. I like Mastodon for the UI but not so much the tooth length. I like that you can filter out content you don't wish to see your timelines using keywords. This can be done on Misskey, Pleroma and Friendica too.
Finding like-minded people to talk to is hard there, same goes for Pleroma and Misskey. This is why I like the community feel of Lemmy, talking about a common topic of interest is so much easier and less stressful than tooting into the void.
Pleroma is good too, with a very generous character limit and choice of multiple frontends including Mastodon's. They say Pleroma is lighter on the resources than Mastodon but I wouldn't know since I never ran my own instance.
Friendica is great for connecting to other networks in the Fediverse like Diaspora, Mastodon, Pleroma etc.
Misskey looks nice, almost like a mixture of Mastodon and Pleroma but it doesn't play nice on older hardware, so I mainly accessed it via an app.
Those were a lot of flashes. Hope the woman's recovery will go well, I was fearing the worse as I read the article.
The last line sounded scary with the glacier melting fast.
I hope the Swiss and everyone experiencing hot temperatures im the world will take care.
I'm not sure if this is what you're asking for or even if it will work but I found a tool for migrating accounts:
https://github.com/wescode/lemmy_migrate
To answer your other question, I find the site can be accessed briefly on evenings, night time. If you want to log in you could try using one of the alternative front ends for Lemmy such as Voyager, Alexandrite or Photon.
They work on both desktop and mobile browsers but they won't allow you to export account data.
Jerboa on Android, still works for me, so I use it to access here.
