Thank you so much for the feedback! I really should find the project file and work on it again.

How would you have gone about ending it?

I think it’s a tie between the two albums Tranquillity Base Hotel and Casino by Arctic Monkeys and 22, a million by Bon Iver.

The former ventures into atmospheric landscapes, showcasing Alex Turner's storytelling, while the latter combines folk, indie rock, and experimentation. Both albums push boundaries, captivate with their courage, and represent artistic growth, delivering transcendent musical experiences.

This is a cover for Open your eyes by STRFKR that I produced in 2021. I think the vocals could use a lot more love. It would be interesting to see how much more I could improve it if I were to re produce this today.

Here is my instrumental version of Into the ocean by Blue October.

What would you recommend to improve the breakdown section at 0:50? Is there too much going on? Not enough cow bell? lol

Had some fun with the Ableton Vox instrument :)

I made this one before I was comfortable recording vocals, so its all instrumental

I made this one when I just bought Nectar from izotope, so there are some strange/uncontrolled vocal effects going on

My cover for "Boy Toy" by STRFKR (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yno7UM7-rGc)

Added in some sampled audio from the 60 minute special about UAPs and the tic tac craft.

Are you tired of writing the same old stuff? Maybe you want to expand your knowledge of chords and harmony. Here are two easy ways to spice up your songwriting and get inventive with harmony.

One of my first attempts at using ebosuite to create a video for one of my dubstep tracks.

Check out ebosuite here: https://www.ebosuite.com/

A cheaper option for max based VJ software is Zwobot: https://www.zwobotmax.com/

If you have Abletone live with Max for Live, you should check out the J74 Progressive.

Once you get the hang of the program, it is capable of producing extremely realistic chord progressions and arpeggios, delivered directly as MIDI clips in Ableton Live Session view.

He has a ton of other tools you can check out on his website.

I love how Ned tries to break Ableton every video he makes. Here is a video of him messing with MIDI effects to get some inspiration.

Hello!

This is one of the first songs I have wrote lyrics for. I would play each section and then ad lib the lyrics. I think it sounds a bit cheesy-indie, but that is also what I was going for.

I guess my question is; is the lyrics too cheesy for this track to be taken seriously?

Also, what do you think about the little "Lorde" breakdown around 1:30? does that add to the track at all, or am I just making a fool out of myself?
