Same, the moment they started to announce Apollo was closing I started looking for alternatives and landed on lemmy.

Testing a few apps, memmy is my favorite thus far.

I've been using @lemmy.world as my instance, but with the overload I tought to move to a less crowded instance. However, I can't seem to find any communities when searching. Is this a temporary bug?
