Hear me out, arm them with muskets. A gun line of Pre-K red coats would deter most potential shooters, but individually the muskets are unwieldy and hard to reload, and thus less dangerous overall to the other students.

Yeah, my initial reaction was "well if he's willing to shoot me I might as well shoot back". But thinking about it, I'm a white cis man, I can't imagine being in a situation like that and knowing that if I did retaliate I would more than likely be the one persecuted by the police.

Working on an Alpha legion loyalist (ish) army. Still have a long way to go, but I'm happy with how it's going.
I'm still pretty new to painting minis, but this has been a fun and pretty simple color scheme that looks (imo) pretty good too!
