The trick with visiting Paris (other than "don't"), is to stay in a small commuter town, then get the train in to see the interesting things.

That was my thought. Just a guy taking a nice photo before an event he dressed smartly for.
Same here. Kinda crazy that it's releasing so fast on home media, but I get it.
Going by the reviews, it has a good chance of being a family favourite, so getting it out the door for xmas makes sense.
I'm also refusing to watch the trailer, surprises are fun!
IIRC, the reason it wasn't previously taxed, is that it would have opened up writing off gambling losses against tax.
Don't quote me, obv.
So maybe it would need a lot of other tax law changing at the same time, to not end up encouraging people accidentally the other way.
It's like if you went to church, and the vicar said:
"You know what? I don't fancy delivering this sermon with moral guidance. Lets just sing 10 hymns in a row."
You'd need steel chestnuts to even attempt such a thing!
Toot! Toot!
The only thing I can see really shifting it, is people saying they'll support trump to stay in with their communities, then making excuses why they stayed home on election day.
And if I'm honest, that's a hell of a hail mary pass.
It's also entirely possible that the shriek was for comic effect, but the serious people in the room took it seriously.
"Remarkable! There is an invisible force-field around my dinner!"
My plan is to buy something Valetudo compatible, and have it all run in network.
I try really hard to stick to the policy of "if it needs internet access to operate, I won't install it on the house"
There are some in the datahoarder community pushing a PB.
They mostly store Linux ISOs.
The way to tell so often seems to be if someone has called it AI or Machine Learning.
AI? "I put this through chatgpt" (or "The media department has us by the balls")
ML? "I crunched a huge amount of data in a huge amount of ways, and found something interesting"
