Yet, somehow trump would be able to get away with it.

This is what fucked Bernie Madoff.

If this person had gone to VC's with a pitch for 'AI listening model' with the explanation that "Now musicians can up load their songs to streaming services and AI will listen to make sure their pitch and tonality is accurate and that the beat is correct." or some bullshit like that. Then it would have been 'legal'

It boils down to good politics is boring and full of compromise.

Lot's of talking and compromise doesn't make for good headlines or ~~scare~~ motivate voters to the polls. There is room to add the large media companies to the blame of 'perfection' since they are always looking for the imperfect to talk about. And then they bash that imperfect-ness into the ground.

From what I've researched in the past ( I don't have time to look it up) is that due to fact that women naturally hold more body fat than men that they then have more energy to use on endurance runs. That while they are not faster than men due to smaller muscles they can move for longer periods of time due to having more fat energy.

I could be wrong it happens often with me.

your are connecting two different pieces of data. The speed that a person can run a marathon vs. the ability to run a marathon.

What they are stating is that women are better able to run that distance not that they are faster at running that distance than men.

I do similar things when a task has two physically separate locations like taking out the trash.

While walking out with the trash I will repeat constantly "put in new bag" all the way to the garbage and all the way back, otherwise the task doesn't get completed.

I think the shift in political affiliation had something to do with Regan and the de-regulation of many different business sectors by the republicans in the 80's and 90's.

It became 'easier' to make money and with lower taxes those people got to keep more of it (at the expense of other Americans). So as these boomers started getting out of college in the late 70's and 80's they could now become stock brokers, bankers, real estate brokers, etc instead of a 9 - 5 factory worker. And those were the industries that were getting a lot of lower regulations from republicans so why not vote for their best interest and leave the left wing ideals to someone else.

Speaker Johnson will refuse to swear into Congress on January 3rd a handful of those Democrats, claiming there are “irregularities” in their elections that must be first investigated.

There’s nothing Democrats can legally do to stop Speaker Johnson from pulling this off: he can postpone swearing a member in for as long as he wants.

Then, regardless of how many votes Biden won by, electoral or popular, the House simply refuses to certify the electoral college votes of enough states that the minimum of 270 isn’t reached. Under the 12th Amendment, like with the election of 1876, that throws the election to the House, where each state has one vote.

While a majority of Americans live in a state run by Democrats, a majority of the states themselves are run by Republicans. Each state gets one vote for president in the House, and right now 26 state delegations are GOP-controlled, meaning that a majority of the House would simply vote to put Trump back into the White House, 26-23 (Pennsylvania’s delegation is 50/50). All totally legal.

Covering large parking lots with solar panels is an idea that goes back decades but in America at least it's an idea that has never really taken off.

What is the reason for that? Is it due to the overall cost or is there something else that keeps Walmart, Target, Costco, Sams Club, Malls, etc. from covering their parking lots with these panels and selling the power?

The ol' Fox news switcheroo.

They brag about being the most watched news on television and also tell their viewers to not trust mainstream media.

I see a lot of posts for apps that I would like to try but they all send me to a Github link - What is the process for getting an executable of these apps? Do I have to compile them myself? OR am I missing the .exe or .zip file option?

I really feel like I'm missing something easy..
