I've been doing some scouring and my search results are coming back confusing. Usually either incomplete information, or some kind of sales spam, so I'm reaching out in the hopes of recommendations for actual linux users and fans. I am looking for a very small, tiny even, security/privacy focused distro. I don't mind doing some work to set it up (though LFS may kill me!)

Here is what I have.

  • RAM: 2GB (yep. Seriously. None-upgradable).
  • HDD: 20GB (say 19GB)
  • Processor: Intel Celeron N3350 (2334Mhz average)
  • GPU (hah): Intel HD Graphics 500 (Integrated)

Wishlist

  • Graphical user interface (I appreciate it's going to be very basic)
  • Arch based (I love the AUR and pacman)
  • Base runs on less than 512MB of RAM, Arch Linux is a minimum of 512MB.

The software I plan to run on said device, so to give some kind of guidance of how much RAM we're working with.

  • Tor Expert and Tor Browser bundles or Mull.
  • Virtual machine (of some kind) with Whonix
  • MariaDB
  • RClone
  • VLC/Smplayer (which ever is smaller)
  • VPN client
  • Rustdesk (I can't find anything smaller than actually works)
  • ZSnes
  • SimpleX
  • Deluge (DelugeD with thin-client)
  • LibreOffice (until I can find a lighter alternative, but I need the BASIC capabilities).

You can make an offer, but it's up to them whether they'll accept it, they're declining in this case so your only option is court.

MPH for speed, liters for fuel, MPG for efficiency...

Some road signs are still in yards and feet as is height but length of cars/buses are often described in meters.

Weight is flat out weird, very few places sell by the pound nowadays, it's usually by the kilo or half kilo. But most people are more familiar with Stones... even if they're not quite sure how that breaks down into the smaller weights.

I actually laughed when I heard his nonsense on the radio. The guy is sounds like he is so deluded that I think he actually thinks he can win the election. He also seems to have forgotten everything his voice coach taught him and now he only sounds like a whiny schoolboy. At this point I think even Richard Tice would make a better prime minister.

Gonna correct, this is false-ish... however it is much slower. By the time you're 50 for example all of the neurons in your hippocampus will have been replaced. It's called neurogenesis. It is not currently known whether its the same rate for all of the brain some parts are a little faster, other parts are slower.

I mean... sacrifice child is a whole new one to me! Clearly whoever programmed that in knew what they were doing.

The mass graves for starters that were discovered after the IDF left the area. The indiscriminate bombing of hospitals, UN assigned refugee camps don't go amiss either. The forceful expulsion of millions of people from their homes to ever smaller and smaller parts of Gaza. Perhaps where the IDF told people to go to certain places for safety and then promptly bombed those places. This is supported by statements made my ministers or representatives in the Israeli legislature and government, including current and former ministers. The denial/restriction of aid and water.

This is completely aside from using trumped up evidence absent charges that members of the UN agency were supporting Hamas in order to disrupt funding to a UN refugee agency. They also used this as an excuse to raid hospitals providing necessary medical care, doctors and nurses have been killed. Oh and killing aid workers... repeatedly. I think the first excuse was "it wasn't us" which turned into "it was us but it was an accident" to "it was us, we deemed them a thread"... another incident was... World Kitchen? That was just such a shitshow for the IDF that someone actually got the boot.

There's plenty of evidence available, it's literally everywhere and often published/reported on by international media.
