Oh ... oh no... this isn't new. This always gets trotted out before the elections.
If you had the power, supervillian style, probably not an ethical worldview to have. Also, not viable.
If you have no power but you know that the systems that we live within are pretty shitty, are causing massive harm by their very existence, and are in the process of failing it stops being about ethics and becomes cope. As a mental self defense mechanism its viable in a limited way but you're going to come off like a super dickhead at best or a complete psychopath at worst.

More like its been going on for at least 70 years...
Four years getting the money to go to "any" college/university, almost four years to not complete a bachelors degree (and use all the financial resources from the previous four years), spend 10 years working at a grocery store rarely using anything I learned in business college/information systems classes (and actually kinda liking the work at the grocery store... I know, I'm a fucking weirdo) and now I have a "barely" there job with no security for a few hours a day/six days a week selling stamps and sticking people's mail in their post office boxes...
Life is a super weird road we travel, it never seems to lead us where we were expecting it to...

NordVPN seems pretty solid. Been using it for a bit over a year. Price seemed reasonable when I bought into the plan. I'm definitely not a super genius when it comes to this stuff and it was able to get it set up on my ancient PC and slightly less ancient iPhone without too much trouble.
I've torrented and seeded a few small handfulls of movies/TV series and download ROMS/.ISO's fairly frequently and the speeds are good enough for me.
I know there's instructions for using NordVPN on a Linux machine but its more of the "everything is done through command line instead of GUI interface" and I haven't forced myself to stare at the walkthroughs and commit myself to "trial and error" by fire yet.
