Huh. That’s neat. I figured those diagrams weren’t to scale but I didn’t realize the extent. That’s close enough to call it a circle

Under AES I fully support strict gun control. I think China has their gun policies pretty on point.

Under capitalism I’m very torn. In particular, in the current day United States the people who want me, my loved ones, and anyone like us dead and buried have lots and lots and lots of guns. So I’d like some of the people who like us being alive to also have guns.

As far as myself personally, I’m not entirely sure if I’m even allowed to own a gun but if I can I don’t want one, I’m painfully aware that the person I’d be most likely to use it on is “me if I get too sad”

I truly cannot stress enough that we need a covid truth and reconciliation commission.

Biden and Trump, every single US senator, most house members, every governor (are there any exceptions? I wouldn’t rule it out but I don’t know who), a large number of mayors, and a good number of other powerful people like hospital and university presidents, plus the relevant people in countries that aren’t the US, need to be tried and punished for society to move forward. They have pushed Nazi Germany levels of death on people.

We also need to actually do something about covid. Mandatory vaccinations, testing, increased ventilation, mask mandates and, yes, a return to lockdowns where necessary. All of the things we’ve known work since December 2019. And when I say lockdowns, at this point I mean what freakish American chuds claimed China did. Oh you don’t want to stay home when you’re sick? We’re giving you a bag of rice and welding your door closed. Fuck what I would give to have anyone in power willing to actually do something about it.

My partner and I met my dad in a tiny town in Indiana where they had a whole festival going. They had a shockingly good band playing, I’ve never heard “The Wobble” played live and it was significantly better than the original lmfao

Sky was completely clear, it was seriously one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen.

We left as soon as totality ended and managed to avoid hitting too much traffic, just like 30 minutes to get on the interstate and some standard rush hour traffic, basically like leaving any event ever. Compared to 2017 where we were in bumper to bumper traffic for like 6 hours split up by going down South Carolina side roads before having to turn around because of flooding

Oh for sure, I took it from some standup comedian. I want to say it was Ryan Hamilton’s Happy Face but I’m very unsure

“You don’t order food for the table right before you have to leave”

Yeah it’s an incredibly blatant violation of the first amendment, and I know the constitution isn’t worth the paper it’s written on but some of them like to pretend

Yeah hard limit of 65 years old on all elected positions. The most important ones should be under 55.
