Reminds me of that time in university tech support where we had to reinstall Win3.11 on a PC with a bunch of floppy disks.
I always read about these new annoying windows features but I never actually encounter them on my Win11 PC...
Is it because I'm on a professional license?

Yeah, Win10 can't properly handle the efficency cores. So it's either upgrade to Win11 or disable the cores. (Or play with terrible random stutters)
It's not running great but also not terrible on my rig (3070ti, 12700K, everything on high). I've heard that the FPS in the menu is somehow worse than in game.
Gonna stick with my unfinished CS1 city for now since I am playing highly modded and aiming for a beautyfull city rather than actually playing the game..
Performance isn't the best but I didn't really spend time optimising it in settings.
Love the scale of things. Wanted to plop down the international airport to see what it looks like and damn, that thing is enormous.
I think they should improve some of the visual indicators for roadsnapping, building placement etc. Getting roads to like up correctly is a bit finicky, when placing buildings it's hard to see what they are colliding with. Changing the direction on one-way roads should also just be a click like in CS1.

I am running Win11(pro) because the new Intel CPUs require it.
It's completely fine. I use Firefox without edge annoying me. There are no apps that just pop up out of nowhere (that I know of). It's fine. I locked down all the temeletry shit like I did on Win10.
The only thing annoying me is the change in the preview in folder icons. I wanna see the pictures that are in the folder not the. xmp files Darktable creates.
Gonna try it on Gamepass, keep playing modded CS1 and get it on Steam in a year or two when there's more content and it's on sale.
Die ordentliche Mindestlohnanhebung, der (für deutsche Verhältnisse) relativ unkomplizierte Heizkostenzuschuss und die Inflationsausgleichsprämie kommen irgendwie auch immer zu kurz.
Bei DM ist der Preis für die 3er Gold zwar ordentlich hoch gegangen aber mit 20€ Immer noch sehr billig. Ist nicht immer verfügbar kommt aber immer wieder rein.
Entwickeln kann DM auch recht günstig wenn man nur Urlaubsfotos entwickeln und nicht grad die eigene Hochzeit oder so. Deren Scans lohnen sich aber wirklich nur wenn man sonst gar kein Scan-Setup hat.
