I rushed my base when I was a young lad and now I want to get into the game a bit more seriously. I don’t know what to upgrade. I’m level 12 but I feel like all of my defenses are underpowered. Any advice? I am unable to add a photo due to an error :(

Driving to a treatment appointment this morning realizing it’s the first I won’t have Apollo to pass the time with is sad. I tried to get Siri to play some relaxing music but because she is dumb she played “my way” by frank sinatra. Although it’s not what I wanted certain lines hit home.
