Does anyone else have trouble loading catbox files or the main site?

Exactly:

  • It reheats food quickly with a better texture than the microwave
  • It keeps food warm once I've cooked it and i can use it to keep part of dinner warm while I cook the rest
  • It cooks food evenly because it is a convection oven, and starts the process quicker because it is small
  • It replaces my toaster
  • I can bake one thing in the oven (fish potatoes, broccoli) while the other cooks in the air fryer, especially helpful when they have vastly different cook times and temperatures

I've mentioned it in the weekly thread but these are sitting an inch deep in nutrients and water. They drink it down, and I refill it when they need it. Its a hydroponic method called kratky. I don't have a hose or a lot of room so this might be a good solution for me. Excited to see how it goes!

A cooking server sounds pretty neat

I'd think it was normal

I love it, I should do that!

I really encourage it when space is an issue. I have a basil plant that's been going for about a year, I've changed the water twice and that's it! I reuse peanut butter containers and use cotton balls for a growing medium. Kratky is really easy! I can't even keep basil in a pot alive, but this guy is great.

I dont have much space or a hose hookup, but I want to try kratky outdoors with some Thai chillis and poblanos. I recently started the plants, and I plan to go to a garden center for starters if they fail. I'm excited!

Kratky is a hydroponic method where you stick plant roots in a mix of water and nutrients, and the plant grows as is! I've only done it indoors, so an outdoor grow will a new challenge but a fun one.

This is awesome and so is Cleveland. Excited to see what people can do to build up the east side.

I need to add to the dishonored pile here. Deathloop is a much more doom-able game. Dishonored can be played in a fast way, but you can play the entire game with killing anyone, or being seen by anyone, or both. I highly recommend it, they scratch the itch.
