I didn't plan on posting these for a long time but a griefing group paid real money for our coords so we moved everything out just before they came in to blow it up. It's gone now.

@the_[email protected] losers tbh, but that's 2b2t unfortunately.

There's several hate speech griefing groups on the server that use the word anarchy to mean "be an asshole". It doesn't matter though, it was completely empty by the time they blew it up. Apparently they paid money for our coordinates, which makes it even funnier that they bought an empty base. Lmao.

Melon Men had an admin base for awhile that we've been keeping secret and yesterday, someone "randomly" stumbled upon it. We asked them how they found it and they seemed genuine and peaceful so we let them look around while we moved our stashes out.

About 6 hours later, after everything was millions of blocks away, the Enclave hate speech griefing group swooped in just in time to blow up our 1 shulker of cobblestone that we left behind!😂

Close one, but they actually think they got us, so we'll just let them "win" this time. :kek:

I'll post pics of the builds at Melongrad that my admin team made later today. They are rubble now.

Oh boy. Things have been quite interesting on 2b2t lately.

The Melon Men are now the fastest growing group on the server, which is quite impressive in my opinion, given the server's history of toxicity and Melon Men being a peaceful group.

However, we also have opps. A group known as Enclave have infiltrated our discord a couple of times trying to change all of our stuff to hate speech but failed because our bot doesn't allow that shit.

Then, we just casually had 5th column members join our discord and try to be sneaky by being non-toxic. They're the most notorious and most toxic griefing group on the server.😬

I also feel that something out of the ordinary is going down or will be going down really soon. Lots of old players popping up again recently including some old "Nerds Inc" players which is the group in which the infamous Popbob was a part of.

We can only wait and see if the plot thickens.😅

This week on 2b2t, the OLDEST anarchy server in Minecraft:

I was finally able to make a "Melon Men" sign outside of the world border written in obsidian, giving us a permanent place on the server!

Also, with the insane growth of the group, we have almost 300 people in our discord which gets a bit crazy sometimes. With that amount of fast growth, we're also getting those type of people who don't like us. One of those groups is called Enclave, a very toxic griefing group. The other day, an Enclave member infiltrated our discord for about 12 hours and we didn't know until they started being toxic out of nowhere.😅

It's so wholesome to see that even in an anarchist environment, there's still a sizable group of people wanting to do good instead of doing bad.😁

The Melon Men discord group now has over 150 members and we have our own custom invite link!

That's pretty neat, never been a part of a discord like that, much less been in the leadership.

There's a Halloween event near spawn tomorrow, but to be honest I feel that's a massacre waiting to happen.😂

Assholes will just fly in and start killing people. I hope not, but I might avoid it just in case. I'm not scared of dying, I just don't want an asshole to get the satisfaction of killing me.🤷‍♂️

The LGBTQ+ community and allies have seemingly taken over the server and pretty much shut down any kind of transphobia by just ignoring them or griefing their bases. :lul: I love it. Toxicity always gets shut down by positivity and The Melon Men are helping to prove that!

@the_[email protected] That's why there's over 2500 priority queue members haha. Its only 20$ a month so if a person plans to play for longer than a day or two, it's worth it to save the time.

Most days, especially weekends, the server is siting at 400+ players online with 300+ in the queue. It's at 420 right now.😏 :veriweed:

If any of you decide to join and promise to be non-toxic and promote kindness, let me know and I'll drop in and give you a kit to help escape spawn.

Just a warning, without paying for priority queue, it normally takes 6-8 hours to get in.

@[email protected] for sure, I haven't dove deep into all the different content packs and mostly have stuck to 2 or 3 of the Minecraft clone ones but that does sound frustrating and confusing.

These changes they're making won't fix that though as far as I can tell.

The Minecraft connection made it more worthy of trying for me.

@Alien_[email protected] I give out stuff at spawn to help others and yeah, those maparts arent mine. My map art only has a slur to deter people from using it.

The stashes thing is just a normal thing. There's many servers where you can PVP and take peoples stuff. However, I don't PVP and everything I take goes back to noobs at spawn and I don't usually take stuff if I don't know who's it is. Everyone I've taken from so far, are these types of toxic assholes.

@Alien_[email protected] I'm 32. I haven't adopted that behavior and my group is trying to supress that kinda behavior on the server. It's WAY less than it ever was on the server nowadays.
