His character and The Wasp character are lovers.. Weird Al was probably the least Alabama option.

he should dress up as Spiderman instead
with the headmask on, he'll be unrecognisable
Actors are people who exists outside of their work with their own hobbies and interests. Paul Rudd is getting paid to dress up and play Ant-Man only at his job, so he can dress up and play whomever he wants on his own time. (especially Weird Al)
Besides, if he actually dressed up as Ant-Man, everyone is just going to think he is a Paul Rudd impersonator anyways.
Thanks for the insight, Margot Robbie
You're welcome, bingbong.
Also, that's esteemed Academy Award nominated character actress Margot Robbie to you!
Ah yes, my sincere apologies, esteemed Academy Award nominated character actress Margot Robbie
I really don't know why people here always insists on addressing me with both my first and last name for some reason.
Because there's another esteemed character actress named Margo, we have to avoid confusion
... But Margo Martindale isn't Academy Award nominated though.
Why do you think I'm always so insistent on mentioning that?
Also, he's probably contractually bound to not appear as Ant Man without permission from the studio.
Holy shit this can possibly be the case. A little sad
That and I doubt he wants to be shooting ready in an antman costume to walk around the neighborhood with his daughter.
His costume, other than the wig, is comfy as fuck. He can transition into whatever the night reasonably holds without have to have costumers remove the stuff and strip him of makeup, etc.
Besides, its probably in his contract to NOT portray his marvel character OUTSIDE of the movies, simply to retain proper branding. If he tried to put on his own antman getup, it would pale in comparison to a pound of makeup backed up by CGI artists.
I mean, I don't think anyone was expecting him to get fully decked out in his movie gear, if his daughter wanted him to be ant man I'm sure she'd love it if he put on a cheap Amazon "Insect Guy" costume. That actually would've been hilarious, and with a mask on he may not have even been recognized
Funny yes but he works for the same company that sued a dead kid for having a spider man grave stone
As I understand in american legal system dead always win
Pretending to be a goofy impersonation of himself would be hilarious and would help him stay under the radar, huh.
Now, where have I heard that one before?
Some of you haven't read the Wasp v Weird Al comic event and it shows 😤
It's cannon
What a nice dad trying to keep the attention on his kid!
I certainly wouldn't have recognized him. I just would have thought, "that guy has got Weird Al down."
Hiding in plain sight in a pretty funny way.
TRANSFORMERS!
Such a Paul Rudd thing to do.
"What's Thor's Hammer's name?"
"Jonathan."

I really like Paul Rudd as a person and I've hardly seen any movies with him.
Alot of them are excellent. You should try some.
Slappin da bass
SLAPPA DAT BAASSS.
Seems more /wholesome than /shitpost
She went as an imaginary character, he went as a legend :)
People really need to stop this celebrity obsession. He's a dad trick or treating with his daughter a few years ago. It is beyond ridiculous that people not only tolerate this, but cheer it on.
You know, this is what dads do. Every good dad or mom is worth cheering on, since in this shit world it's not granted.
Ha, I completely didn't pick up how my post could be read that way. And you're right! I meant more about people being creepy and not letting a dad and daughter go unbothered for Halloween.
Internet would be so much more peaceful without legit misunderstandings haha. I'm sorry, you have a good day :)
I think they're implying that we shouldn't pay attention to it so these people can go back to having a private life. Maybe we can hope that might keep so many of them from dying by their own hands in one way or another.
Oh, in in that case I agree. I might have misunderstood the msg
Seriously, this.
All I could think of was wow, this poor little girl can't even have a normal childhood experience trick or treating with her dad because some fuck head paparazzo is chasing them around snapping pictures of them. That's so sleazy and shitty. She didn't ask for this. She just wants to be with her dad.
Firstly, it's not necessarily a paparazzi - it could've just been someone in their neighbourhood who posted it to facebook.
Secondly, here we are generating "engagement" with the product of their work.
First, sure. It could be that. My opinion is that it's awfully likely that a photo in this format was a paparazzo. And if it was a random neighbor it's pretty rude of them, too.
Second, the title of the post had zero indication that this would be a photo taken from the bushes of a celebrity and his child. Comments here in the form of "engagement" are doing absolutely nothing for the person who took the picture. I'm certain the person who made the meme didn't pay for the shot. We don't need to feel guilty because we accidentally viewed it for free on a website that generates no revenue. The people taking the picture are the ones who are wrong.
There are lots of groups out there who could use random people on the internet defending them. Paparazzi are absolutely not in that category. They are terrible people.
Best Howard Stern cosplay i've seen in a while.
Only if he goes around saying "Dubayu-EEEEENNnnnn-bee-see" while someone dressed up as Paul Giamatti constantly correcting him "no no, is Dubayu-EEeennnn-bee-see"
Awesome guy
We all have our heroes.
Wierd Al:
No, really. He is voiced by Wierd Al, he looks like Wierd Al. So he IS Wierd Al.
